SSI has been involved in the provision of system security services throughout many of our projects. This experience has included the management and definition of security policies for systems being developed under our responsibility, the conformance of those systems to the standards, penetration testing (including ethical hacking), and in accreditation processes (security).

SSI is also a member of The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). ISSA is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security professionals and practitioners. It provides educational forums, publications and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill and professional growth of its members.  With active participation from individuals and chapters all over the world, the ISSA is the largest international, not-for-profit association specifically for security professionals.

SSI has provided advice on the security of Information Technology environments and systems, ranging from Internet Banking Sites (digital security certification etc.), Aircraft Fleet Management Systems (within Defence), Logistics Systems, POS Systems, Donor and Sponsor Management Systems, Energy Trading Systems, B2B e-commerce systems, and Subscriber Management Systems.
